Oresme is a company which provides fair services whose aim is to help students in higher education, and more precisely, to harmonize the various wheels of their training environment by offering them information, practical advices and by helping them concerning their accommodation and contacts searches. Oresme edits the Internet website by the same name which gathers its various services and ensures their functioning.

The housing help service :

Oresme ensures on its website, the display of various furnished accommodation’s advertisements, which come from landlords, and which are exclusively available for Oresme registered students. To make their searches easier, these accommodations are qualified and rated (allocation of 1 to 5 stars) according to criteria established by Oresme in its Quality Charter, and in accordance with the concerned landlords. Moreover, Oresme invites both students and landlords to sign the Trust Charter that will commit themselves mutually to respect the housing conditions.

All you have to do :

1 Filling in carefully the landlord application form on line and choose a username to enable the creation of your personal account.

2 In return we will send you by e-mail a summary of your offer of accommodation that you will have to print and sign. Once signed you will have to send it back to us together with the Quality Charter and the payment of your subscription enabling the display of your offer over a year according to your vacancies.

3 On the basis of the conveyed elements, your accommodation will be qualified and rated according to criteria established by Oresme and your offer will then appear as an accommodation ad sheet in our database. We will give you then a reference number enabling you via your personal account to manage by yourself your availabilities on the Internet. If you do not have a computer, Oresme will do any modification for you, all you have to do is phoning us 48h in advance.

4 The Oresme search engine is in charge of matching students requests’ criteria with those of your ad. Then you are directly contacted by the student interested in your offer, either by phone, by e-mail or routing (i.e.: e-mail transfer on your account), in accordance with the mode chosen during your registration.

5 In case of a tenancy agreement, you will have to send us back the Trust Charter signed jointly by you and your student. You will have to update your vacancies on the website or you can ask Oresme to do it for you by phoning them. In both cases, updating must be done as soon as possible for the good functioning of the service and in everyone’s interest.

6 At the end of the stay, you will have to fill in the satisfaction survey and to send it back to us.

The annual subscription :

It enables you to activate you offer according to your needs and availabilities in an unlimited way over a year starting from the registration date of your offer. The annual subscription for a first offer will cost you 20 euros (all tax included), then it will cost you 10 euros (all tax included) for any additional offer of accommodation.

Advices and important points :

We remind you that you commit yourself to respect Oresme’s terms and conditions, its Quality Charter and its Trust Charter over the whole period of subscription. Should there be a withdrawal, display fees (annual subscription) remain acquired by Oresme.

At the anniversary date of your registration, you are invited to renew your subscription by indicating your vacancies for the coming year, should you know them in advance. Should you do not know them, you can inform us at any time during your subscription term and then activate your ad sheet.

To guarantee confidentiality, your personal details and those of your accommodation offer are not displayed on the ad sheet, nor they are transferred to students. Only your phone number or e-mail are displayed, in accordance with the choice you made during your registration.

We advise you to charge the appropriate rent in comparison with the requested rent and the accommodation offered, in accordance with the mutual aid and exchange spirit mentioned in the Trust Charter.
